Buildings
In this section, Wes reveals important details and insider information, as well as concept drawings of the fabulous, futuristic buildings and structures of The Maker.
X-Camp
X-Camp is the dig site where Adrien discovers the truth about America and the Maker. It is set it what was Omaha, Nebraska. Omaha is now a barren wasteland due to the G-CoN attack 150 years before.
X-Camp is so called because of the arrangement of its base camp and four dig sites. The base camp is in the middle while the four sites sit on the four corners surrounding the camp.
Adrien nicknamed it X-camp because it looks like an X from the top of the hill near the ravine where he often goes.
Adrien has the only Adapation Living Space Unit (ALSU) at X-camp. It is a single living unit for the Site Leader and includes a small sitting room, kitchenette, bedroom, and tractable sink and shower. See notes below for more information.

SDC
The SDC is the Global Government's Super Data Center Complex. It is a virtual storage area for multiple government agencies, including Global Information Services (GIS) and Global Security Services (GSS).
In the opening scene with Addy, she, Rad, Remi, and Deston have entered the facility virtually to try to load a virus and alter the Globalcast.
The original concept for the SDC was a large public library. Many of my ideas came from the New York Public Library, including the outside facade and interior layout. (See the image below. Courtey Diliff, Wikipedia Commons.)

The NYPL reading room. This kind of vast room is what I had in mind for the CDC.

The exterior of the NYPL (public domain). The large marble portico extending off the front is what I had in mind for the SDC.
The Nest
The Nest is the three-story, chandelier shaped structure from which the weekly Globalcast is managed. It hangs from the top of the Chamber (see below), a massive opening in the center of GIS headquarters.
The Nest has a layer of windows all the way around and a maintenance platform that surrounds the outside of the structure.
The Nest can only be accessed by a single, secure elevator from the the twentieth floor. Below are my initial notes and sketches.

The Chamber
The Chamber is a massive opening in the middle of the GIS Headquarters building in Paris. The Chamber serves two purposes. First, it is the space which houses the Nest (see above), the source of Global Government's most powerful human control instrument, the Globalcast.
Second, the Chamber is, in essence, a massive datacenter, a large room filled with computers. Surrounding the Chamber on each level are rows and rows of Magnatium servers, the all-knowing brains of the G-CoN. Because of the large processing power of these servers, the Chamber is always cold, about thirdy degrees Fahrenheit.
Here is an early sketch of the Chamber.

GIS Headquarters
GIS Headquarters is itself an impressive structure. Located in down town Paris on the edge of the Seine river (pronounced like the word 'sane'). It's futuristic styling includes a blue glass exterior, an almost hour-glass shape, and a three pointed peak.
The idea came from the design for the Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower (see image below; image taken from dezeen design magazine website; click image for complete report).
Global Capitoleum

The Global Capitoleum is the building that houses most high-level G-CoN leaders (except Damien Addergoole). It is the home of Rurik Pulgate, the G-CoN Vice Sovereign, and the Global Sovereign himself, the supreme ruler of the Global Government.
This structure is a 250-story, 2600 foot tall skyscraper in the middle of the One Planet campus, a twenty-two building collection of government buildings spread over a 1,000 acre tract in downtown Paris.
The Global Capitoleum is a pyramid-shaped building covered in a metallic-gold exterior.
